Tenerife, Spain - Trip 2002

I have often seen beautiful, wide and endless beaches. For example, beaches with snow-white sand in Australia and on the Chinese island of Hainan. A visit to a volcano-like landscape like on the moon is not for me at first, but if there are supposed to be beaches with black sand there . . . . . . I would like to have seen a beach with black sand. My friend and I then set off for the volcanic island of Tenerife . . . .

2002, When we checked into the hotel, we first had a room with a balcony facing the side street, including a loud party scene. After complaining, we got another room with a sea view the next day, which we had actually booked. - Chau Tran (Qing Lian)

2002, We think we have a peaceful world, but in reality it is overshadowed by war. After the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world is far from peace. Japan was in the closest alliance with Hitler's Germany in the Second World War and, this is often forgotten today, in the countries of Asia Japan was everywhere responsible for the so-called "Asian Holocaust". Several million people in Asia were massacred, buried alive, their skin was removed from their bodies while they were still alive and . . . and . . . . there were many other brutal and inhuman acts. Japan annually commemorates the atomic bomb victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but since the post-WW2 period, Japan has been in the closest alliance with the US, a powerful war leader, largest producer and seller of nuclear weapons in the world. On the "Asian Holocaust", Japan has to this day shown no remorse, not a single word of apology to the victims. . . . . . They only think of exporting their own policies to other countries, then making war there, the main thing is not in their own country, then everything is "OK". Or stir up unrest in other countries for their own benefit. There is a saying: "Those who sow the wind reap the Storm", refugees are coming and .... . . terrorists. . . . . a problem! Well . . . . the mighty war leader does not accept refugees into his own country, the allies are supposed to "sweep the dirt" . . . . . . . Nothing is worse than lying for war (US-Iraq war). The world is split and put in tension to do business with weapons of war. - Chau Tran (Qing Lian)

2002, You can get used to a beach with black sand over time, but I still find a beach with white sand has more attraction for me. On this trip we found ourselves in deserted places almost all the time. We now only say . . . . . . . . farewell! - Chau Tran (Qing Lian)
